The directors are selected at the company's annual shareholders meeting
Florida Commerce Bancorp Inc. shareholders have elected the following directors to serve a one-year term: Joseph D. Reid, chairman and chief executive officer, Capitol Bancorp Limited; Mark L. Morris, president and CEO, Commerce Bank of Southwest Florida; L. Douglas Johns, principal, Mid-Michigan Investment Co.; J. Keith Arnold, owner and consultant, J. Keith Arnold & Associates; Douglas E. Crist, principal, Developers of Southwest Florida Inc.; Michael L. Kasten, principal and owner, Kasten Investments; and E. Bruce Strayhorn, attorney, E. Bruce Strayhorn. Florida Commerce Bancorp was established in 2007 to serve as the holding company for Commerce Bank of Southwest Florida. The directors of the bank include: Joseph D. Reid; Mark L. Morris; J. Keith Arnold; E. Bruce Strayhorn; Katherine Dougherty, principal, Galloway Family of Dealerships; Benjamin C. Few III, president and owner, Ben Few & Company Inc.; Larry D. Hart, assistant tax collector, Lee County Tax Collector’s Office; David G. Malt, owner and principal, Malt Realty & Development Co.; Richard H. Pritchett III, associate, owner and broker, Dick Pritchett Real Estate; and Paul A. Sands, owner, Paul A. Sands, P.A.
During the recent annual shareholders meeting, they learned that the bank’s total assets were $83 million, loans were $73 million and deposits were $70 million. |
