The Bradenton company will offer regional franchises in 35 states Bradenton-based First Watch Restaurants Inc. announced Monday that will sell regional franchises in 35 states this year.

First Watch, founded in 1983, is a breakfast-and-lunch operator with 78 locations in 11 states. The privately held company reported sales of $72 million in 2007.

Requirements of franchisees will include: A minimum net worth of $2 million in liquid assets, with resources available to develop at least five restaurants in a territory; payment of a $35,000 franchise fee per restaurant; and payment of a $17,500 development fee per restaurant that will be credited toward the franchise fee of additional restaurants as they open.
