Kevin C. Hale replaces George Najmy Banking veteran Kevin C. Hale has been appointed president and chief executive officer of financially troubled First Priority Bank.

Hale replaces George Najmy, who resigned Monday to pursue other interests.

The Bradenton-based bank posted an annual loss of $7.4 million in 2007, and has reported an annual profit only once since it began in 2003, according to published reports.

Hale has 26 years of experience in the industry, most recently serving as president and CEO of Fifth Third Florida, according to a company news release.
