Heatherwood Construction (www.HeatherwoodConstruction.com) has started construction of the new corporate headquarters for First American Bank in Naples.

The class A, two-story building in the Marquesa Plaza at 3360 Pine Ridge Road, will feature more than 26,000 square feet of banking and office space.

In addition to the bank, Maquesa Plaza includes a Starbucks, Wireless Toyz, Figaro's Pizzeria and other retail shops.

Hector Vidal of Heatherwood Construction is the project manager, and Jeff Wise is the job superintendent.

Bruce Lampitt of Sheeley Architects provided architectural design services. Construction is scheduled for completion in October.
