The Economic Development Council of Collier County (EDC) will hold an Industry & Opportunity Tour from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday.

The tour will showcase the possibilities for local businesses to expand or relocate to Eastern Collier County.

Guests will learn about topics including the Immokalee Area Master Plan, the Florida Tradeport/Immokalee Regional Airport Master Plan, available sites, workforce housing, education facilities and program offerings, and workforce preparation through the Immokalee Career and Service Center.

Attendees will also tour the new town of Ave Maria and receive an update on the plans for the new town of Big Cypress.

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. at EDC offices, 3050 North Horseshoe Drive, Suite 120.

The bus tour will depart at 8:45 a.m. and will return by 3 p.m. Tickets are $20 per person, and include lunch.
