Debra Jacobs, the president and CEO of the William G. Selby and Marie Selby Foundation for more than 10 years, announced she will join The Patterson Foundation as president and CEO.

Jacobs plans to remain at the Selby Foundation during the transition through December 31. The Patterson Foundation, based in Sarasota, was formed by Dorothy Patterson in 1997.

Patterson died in 2007 and left her estate to the foundation, which is expected to grow $225 million next year. Attorney John Berteau is chair.
