The state will make the presentation on Tuesday

The Crowne Plaza Hotel will receive its certificate of designation from Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) as a “Green Lodging” hotel at ceremony and reception beginning at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Expected guests are Lee County commissioners Tammy Hall and Brian Bigelow look on, the certificate of Green Lodging will be given during a recognition ceremony at 4:30 p.m. Immediately following the ceremony will be a reception in honor of the hotel employees hard work and dedication, making the certification possible, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The hotel is at 13051 Bell Tower Drive in Fort Myers.
