Owen-Ames-Kimball Company provided the services for the 31,260-square-foot, three-story building

Owen-Ames-Kimball Company (OAK) has completed construction management services for the Johnson Engineering office building on Johnson Street in Fort Myers.

The Class A, 31,260-square-foot, three-story building expands facilities for the engineering company.

Built on a tight job site, the interior construction included a two-story atrium, wooden staircase, stained wood wainscot, crown molding and chair rails. Outside the structure, decorative brick veneer was used, and the building was topped off with a copper roof.

The site work included an emergency generator, an underground LP gas tank, a renovated parking lot, a new drainage system and an on-site retention basin.

The construction team for OAK included Tim Harkins as project site superintendent, Dave Dale as general superintendent and Ken Gentry as project manager.
