GCM Contracting Solutions is building the 117,000 square-foot structure, which will contain 325 dry slips

GCM Contracting Solutions (www.GCMContracting.com) has started construction of a boathouse for the Hamilton Harbor Yacht Club at 7065 Fern St. in Naples.

It’s the first solid concrete tilt-wall boat storage facility in Southwest Florida.

Next to the Rookery Bay National Reserve, the facility will provide boat owners with convenient access to the Gulf of Mexico. The 117,000-square-foot boathouse will contain 325 dry slips and is built withstand 150-mile-per-hour winds. The building will accommodate vessels up to 50 feet long and will include a private yacht club and ship store.

Designed by GCM Contracting Solutions, the boat house will be made of non-combustible and fire resistant materials. The project is expected to be complete in April.
