The Community Pharmacy of Sarasota County (www.communitypharmacyofsarasota.org) will celebrate its grand opening at 4:30 p.m. on April 3.

The nonprofit pharmacy at 225 South Tamiami Trail in Nokomis helps uninsured and under-insured residents from all over Sarasota County with the acquisition of free medicines that they could not otherwise afford. It is staffed by volunteers and managed by a paid operations manager.
