Celebrating Clyde Nixon

The University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee will dedicated the Clyde G. Nixon Courtyard in honor of the school's late benfactor The University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee will celebrate the late Clyde Nixon’s contributions to the University and the community with the dedication of the Clyde G. Nixon Courtyard on Feb. 11. Before he died last year, Nixon was the chairman of Sun Hydraulics Corp., a member of the USF Sarasota-Manatee Campus Board, and chairman of the Community Leadership Council at USF Sarasota-Manatee, helping to raise $7.5 million for the university’s new campus.
