Donald Hinks says his project isn't finished, contrary to a news release sent by the contractor

The developer of Twins Plaza shopping center in Cape Coral is disputing a news release distributed by its former builder, J.L Wallace Inc., that the project had been completed. Information from the release subsequently was published last week in Comm-Ex Journal.

Donald Hinks of Hinks and Associated says his 23,000-plus square-foot building at 2612 Santa Barbara Blvd. is not done.

Hinks says he fired J.L. Wallace because the company issued too many change orders and didn’t perform up to Hinks’ expectations.

J.L.Wallace, through its public relations firm Priority Marketing, says it stands by the news release and confirms that it has completed the project.
