The 13,476 square-foot structure will be on Bald Eagle Drive

CORE Construction Services, Southeast Inc., which does business as CORE Construction, with a Naples office, has been awarded a $1.6 million contract to build a three-story, 13,476 square-foot office building in the Gateway Professional Center at 515 Bald Eagle Drive on Marco Island.

John Wiseman, president of CORE Florida, said JJM and Associates of Marco Island awarded the contract. Boughton Architects designed the office building.

Construction will get underway in December, and the new building is slated for completion by next summer, Wiseman said.
