Nominations are being accepted by the Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce The Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for the 2008 Frank G. Berlin Sr. Small Business Awards. The chamber encourages its members and the business community to nominate a deserving, locally owned and operated chamber member business or organization. The categories are: Young Business, Diversity Visionary, Cultural Organization, Non-Profit Organization of the Year, Woman Entrepreneurial Excellence, Think Green Award and Young Professional of the Year. The deadline for nominations is Feb. 27. The event is on May 28 at the Hyatt Regency Sarasota.
