The FineMark National Bank & Trust building is at Riverwalk at Whiskey Creek in Fort Myers

FineMark National Bank & Trust (www.finemarkbank.com), a nationally chartered bank and trust company serving Southwest Florida, has announced that construction of its new corporate headquarters is proceeding on schedule and has reached the half-way point.

The building is at Riverwalk at Whiskey Creek, just north of College Parkway off of Winkler Road in Fort Myers.

The 20,000-square-foot, two-story structure will offer banking and trust clients private rooms for meetings with their advisors, dining facilities, a vault with safe deposit boxes and drive through service. Additionally, the facility will include a first-floor community room with seating for 120 guests to enjoy the bank’s educational, cultural and community service activities.

The new headquarters was designed to reflect the architectural style of architect Frank Lloyd Wright.

“The interior was designed with a mixture of high quality materials such as wood, marble and specialty lighting to exude a feeling of sophistication,” said Bruce Gora of Gora McGahey, who designed the building. “The use of glass promotes an open, yet private environment, which one would expect in a private banking facility.”

Owen-Ames-Kimball is the general contractor for the project. Completion of the new headquarters is scheduled for the first quarter of 2008.
