Wegman Design Group (WegmanDesignGroup.com) has been awarded the interior design contract for Aurelio’s Pizza in the Gulf Coast Town Center in Estero.

The franchise, which hails from the Chicago area, is expected to open in late fall.

The restaurant will measure roughly 5,000 square feet and seat around 200 people.

Firm principal Lori Wegman says she plans to include the Chicago heritage with brick work, photos and other artifacts, all with a casual and upbeat character befitting the environs of a new mall.

Wegman’s past restaurant projects include Handsome Harry’s on Third Street in Naples and Offerdahl’s Cafe & Grill.
