The products, made by Vectrix, will be dealt to the U.S. military

Sarasota-based Armorit LLC (www.armorit.com) and Vectrix Corp. (www.vectrixusa.com) of Middleton, R.I. have reached a three-year agreement for Armorit to serve as the exclusive distributor of Vectrix zero emission vehicles (ZEV) to the U.S. military.

Under the deal, Armorit has exclusive rights to distribute the Vectrix two-wheel and V3 (three-wheel) vehicles outside of the United States to the U.S. Army and Air Force Exchange Services (AAFES).

The electric ZEVs are virtually silent and use a patented regenerative braking system that redirects energy back into the Vectrix battery pack.

Armorit is a distributor that is owned and managed by service-disabled veterans.
