Several local companies were honored at the third annual Summit Awards held Sept. 19 at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point .

Wright Construction Group took home the honor of Contractor of the Year, Eagle Concrete Systems was awarded Sub-Contractor of the Year and Gora Mc/Gahey Associates in Architecture received the Architectural Firm of the Year award.

The goal of the event is to celebrate success and professionalism within the commercial building industry. Created by the Commercial Contractors Council of the Lee BIA, the awards provide an opportunity to recognize excellence in this effort.
