Acosta Properties of Maryland paid $22,000 in the tax deed sale

A vacant commercial lot in Port Charlotte was purchased for $22,000 in a tax deed sale, according to the Charlotte County Property Appraiser’s office.

The high bidder was Acosta Properties of Potomac, Md. The sellers were listed

as Charlotte County and Shari Stier.

The parcel is at 9474 Winborough Drive. The land was last sold in April 2004 for $60,000.
