The land and buildings are near Gasparilla Sound

The former Mercury Marine Testing Center site near Gasparilla Sound in Charlotte County has sold to Jupiter company for $34 million, according to the property appraiser’s office.

The transaction included various buildings on the property, which is along Placida Road near the Boca Grande Casueway

The buyer was Gasparilla Sound Club, which could not be located for coment

The seller was Boca Norte of Venice. A company official declined to comment on the sale or the identity of the buyer.
