Wal-Mart has sold its former location in Punta Gorda for $6.5 million, according to the Charlotte County Property Appraiser’s office.

The 97,210 square-foot building, which is on more than 4 acres, is at 3811 Tamiami Trail.

The buyer is Charlotte 41 Properties.
